Why you should come to one of the meetings of Ankeny Area Democrats?

• We are made up of people just like you. People with diverse backgrounds who are interested in trying to elect those to office, at all levels, who will be responsive to the needs of people. 

• Our emphasis is local. We are a grass roots organization.

• At one of our meetings you will find people who are volunteers in various campaigns and are involved in various Democratic organizations. 

• While we all have the same over all goals, getting out the vote and electing democrats to office, you will find that the emphasis may vary from person to person and among various organizations. 

• We are a place where you can get an overall view of what other organizations and campaigns are doing.

• By just coming together and knowing there is strength in the numbers that exist, you can have an impact.
